Introduction

When attacking in arena or setting a defensive formation it is very important to understand how and where heroes attack in order to obtain the upper hand in combat.
I've drawn a rough image of where each hero will use its basic attack based on their position in the squad.

Basic mechanics

The basic principle is that in any team, 3 heroes will use basic attacks on the left enemy shield and the other 2 the right one.
Example: In the picture above, Williams, Marshall and Murphy will attack the enemy Murphy while Kimberley and Stateman will attack the enemy Williams.

Same principle applies to the enemy team. Enemy Murphy, Kimberley and Stateman will attack our Williams while the enemy Williams and Marshall will attack our Kimberly.

When to use this knowledge?

Knowing how the attacks work is especially useful when countering missle teams because most use Swift in the front line in order to take full advantage of Adam's counter, therefor using Kimberley and Stateman on the right side is extremely helpful because they will focus their basic attacks against Swift and kill him a lot faster. Doing this considerably improves the success rate against missle teams.

The same can be done with aircraft teams as well. Use DVA and Morrison behind her to try to kill Swift faster.
